Thirteen-year-old singer and songwriter
“Katie O” hails from Jacksonville, Florida. She is the youngest of four children and the only girl. She and her brothers are all very close.
Singing has always come naturally to Katie; her mother recalls her always singing and loving music. She would create her own tunes to memorize schoolwork, not realizing that singing and songwriting would eventually become her passion.
Award winning Nashville Entertainment Weekly Records recording artist Mercy Shine is sure to bring a new and fresh feel to the country-rock scene. She sang in 3 Branson music shows from 1992 until 1995, Elvis and the Superstars, Patsy and Friends, and Hank and Friends. Dee Dee Hamilton (formally with the Platters 25 years) told her she sings with soul.
Sophie was born in September of 1999 and grew up in Central Florida, where she still resides. In her first live performance, she performed the American National Anthem and Canadian National Anthem for the Tampa Bay Lightning, at age 8, in front of 19,000 people. She never looked back!
At 12, she picked up her first guitar and started strumming. She fell in love with the guitar and most of her original songs are written with her guitar.
